Animal Kingdom; If I could only RIDE 3 rides

What if you could only RIDE 3 rides at Animal Kingdom, which 3 would they be? READ on for my list…

Hey Fans, this post was very popular last week, so thought I would continue the theme. What if you could only ride 3 attractions at a park, any 3 that you want, but just those 3? Would you go for the popular rides, rides that you remember from childhood or would you go rouge? I tend to do a mix of childhood and rides I have developed a new love for since being a parent. How about you? Read on for my Animal Kingdom List.

The Safari:

100% Kilimanjaro Safari!! In fact, if I could make this number 2 and 3 as well, I would. We LOVE this ride. Why? I love the concept, I love that the animals appear to be free-roaming and happy. I love that you see a variety of animals and that if you ride it a few times, it’s different each time. Once we saw a Lion resting on pride rock. Another time we saw a baby elephant almost splashing in the water with his mom. It was like watching a Disney cartoon, but it was REAL. BEWARE however, the jeep like vehicle can be bumpy and you just might lose your camera. Thank goodness for my camera strap, lol.

Kali River Rapids:

This is a NEW love for us as it wasn’t until my kids got older that they could really appreciate this ride. And what do they appreciate? Well me, me getting soaked EACH and EVERY time. No matter who else rides this with us, I always manage to be in the right spot to get soaked. Like soaked down to the undies, lol. For those who don’t know, Kail River Rapids is a larger inner-tube ride where it spins and turns based on weight and where it hits within the ride “track”. Just when you think its gonna be you, you are gonna drop and get soaked, its spins. Not to mention what happens when it splashes against the side of the ride. Best to pack ponchos or a bag for your belongings.

Festival of the Lion King
Festival of the Lion King:

If you have seen this show, then you know what I am talking about. Fire, flying, puppets, audience interaction, excellent singing/dancing/acting…this show has it all. And, everytime I cry…you know good Disney tears. This long running show has been a park hit for years. Even people who aren’t into “shows” love it. It’s like a feel good Disney movie, but live and in front of you. I am especially impressed with the singing and don’t get me started about the “Can you feel the love tonight” part – OMG. We almost always fastpass this attraction/show as its a “do not miss” on our list.

What would your list be? I assume most people would add Flights of Passage from Pandora. And many might also add Expedition Everest, but I am not one for thrill.
